Importing Manufacturer Part
Prorigo’s SiliconExpert Integration for Aras Innovator enables seamless import of manufacturer parts using advanced keyword-based search with filtering, sorting, and pagination. It offers a configurable integration framework to map SiliconExpert attributes to Aras Innovator part properties with minimal effort. Once imported, users can access a comprehensive view of the manufacturer part, including detailed specifications and datasheets—all within the PLM environment.

Integration Framework
Prorigo’s SiliconExpert integration, built on the ProAppDesigner Framework, enables scalable and traceable connectivity between Aras Innovator and external systems. It supports flexible mapping between Aras ItemTypes and external attributes with one-way or bi-directional sync. Events and operations can run synchronously or asynchronously via message queues, with email notifications and a real-time dashboard to track execution status.

Syncing Manufacturer Parts
The SiliconExpert integration includes a background scheduler that processes ACL (Approved Components List) alerts to keep manufacturer part data up to date. Users are notified of lifecycle or PCN (Product Change Notice) changes, such as part obsolescence or modifications.
The system allows users to approve, ignore, or select cross-referenced alternatives for obsolete parts. Approved changes trigger automated workflows, ensuring controlled updates through Aras Innovator’s change management processes.
- ACL Alerts Dashboard: View a centralized list of all SiliconExpert alerts linked to associated manufacturer parts, categorized by status for easy tracking.
- ACL Alert Details & Status Management: Access detailed ACL alert information with clear Approved and Ignored states to streamline decision-making and traceability.
- MPCO Creation from Approved Alerts: Automatically generate Manufacturer Part Change Objects (MPCO) for approved alerts, with linked affected items for seamless change control.
- MPCO Item View: Review detailed MPCO records and all attached affected items directly within the UI for complete visibility and traceability.
- Cross Part Search Interface: Easily search for alternate or cross parts from SiliconExpert using the Select Cross Part option and attach them to the New Part Number field.
- Cross Part Details Access: Explore detailed specifications of selected cross parts from the search results for informed decision-making.
- Alternate Part Assignment: Assign the selected cross part directly to the New Part Number field, ensuring a smooth replacement process.
- Obsolescence Workflow Automation: Trigger a structured obsolescence workflow when a part is marked obsolete by SiliconExpert, enabling managed transitions.
- Alternate Part Linking Post-Workflow: Upon obsolescence workflow completion, the approved alternate part is automatically linked to the corresponding engineering part in Aras.
