QA Engineer

Job Description

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in software testing and QA processes.
  • Experience working in dynamic and Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze user stories and business requirements to ensure clarity and completeness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective testing strategies and plans.
  • Define and execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Conduct API and UI/UX testing to validate functionality and usability.
  • Perform post-release and regression testing to ensure stability in production environments.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using frameworks like Selenium and RestAssured.
  • Identify, document, and report bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and adopt best practices in testing.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in test planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Strong experience in API and UI/UX testing (manual and automated).
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium and RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with cloud testing environments (AWS preferred).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools like PractiTest.
  • Proficiency in Java/JavaScript for test automation.

Good to have

  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Git-based source control tools like GitHub or AWS CodeCommit.
  • Exposure to performance/load testing and microservices architectures.
