Aras PLM Solution Architect

We are looking for experienced Aras PLM Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of Aras Innovator PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining PLM architectures, integrating enterprise systems, and driving process automation.

Job Description

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in PLM solution architecture & implementation.
  • Strong expertise in Aras Innovator PLM and related enterprise applications.
  • Aras Certified Professional (ACP) certification is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Development

  • Design, develop, and implement Aras PLM solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Define PLM workflows, lifecycles, data models, and automation rules.
  • Customize Aras Innovator using C#, JavaScript, XML, AML, and SQL.
  • Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability of Aras applications.
  • Lead data migration and Aras PLM upgrade projects.

Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a technical point of contact for Aras PLM projects.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives and technical demonstrations.
  • Guide technical teams, providing mentorship and best practices.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system architecture, use cases, and specifications.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay updated with emerging PLM technologies and Aras Innovator advancements.
  • Promote DevOps, CI/CD best practices, and agile methodologies for PLM deployments.
  • Implement AI/ML and data analytics solutions within PLM ecosystems.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in Aras Innovator PLM development, configuration, and administration.
  • Proficiency in C# (.NET), JavaScript, XML, AML, SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, triggers, etc.).
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for PLM system integrations.
  • Deep understanding of PLM workflows, engineering change management, and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience integrating PLM with ERP, MES, and CAD applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
